CHC Chair Adriano Espaillat Calls for Swift Action on Wildfire Relief Amid Los Angeles County Devastation

Washington, D.C. – Congressional Hispanic Caucus Chair Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) released the following statement today in response to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles County:

“Our hearts are with the families and communities impacted by the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles County. These fires have already consumed over 40,000 acres, claimed dozens of lives, and displaced tens of thousands of residents across multiple localities.


The Trade, Commerce, and Manufacturing Task Force leads the CHC's work in the areas of trade, commerce and manufacturing. Additionally, the Task Force works on issues related to the financial services sector, such as banking, housing and the foreclosure crisis.
