Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) and Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva (D-AZ) reportedly led Democrats to House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA)’s office, demanding Grijalva be sworn in after her special-election win. Her seating is pivotal for a discharge petition, which has fueled controversy. Johnson called the protest a political stunt, while Democrats and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus accused him of delaying her oath to block the petition, linked to the release of Jeffrey Epstein files.

Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus on Friday sent a letter to the heads of Google, TelevisaUnivision and Telemundo urging all parties to reach distribution agreements to avoid risking a Spanish-language blackout on YouTube TV, according to a copy of the letter obtained by Axios.

Why it matters: YouTube TV is one of the largest pay-TV providers in the U.S., with more than 8 million customers.
