Congressional Hispanic Caucus Staff Join Friends of Puerto Rico to Discuss Sustainable Economic Development on the Island

Washington, D.C. —   Today, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) hosted a roundtable with Friends of Puerto Rico to discuss initiatives that are expanding opportunity in Puerto Rico.

 

CHC staff and interns joined Angelique Sina, President and Founder of Friends of Puerto Rico, in a Capitol Hill briefing highlighting opportunities to advance Puerto Rico’s economic development through entrepreneurship, education, and support for small businesses—creating pathways for women, youth, and communities across the Island.

 

“Puerto Rico is the beating heart of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus,” said CHC Chair Adriano Espaillat. “Friends of Puerto Rico exemplifies the kind of leadership our communities need, advancing economic opportunity while investing in the next generation. Trabajadores del Caucus Hispano del Congreso se reúnen con Friends of Puerto Rico para discutir el desarrollo económico sustentable en la isla

 

 

Washington, D.C. — Hoy, el Caucus Hispano del Congreso (CHC) sostuvo una mesa redonda con Friends of Puerto Rico para tratar iniciativas sobre la expansión de oportunidades económicas en Puerto Rico.

 

Trabajadores del CHC se reunieron con Angelique Sina, Presidente y fundadora de Friends of Puerto Rico, en una conferencia en el Capitolio haciendo hincapié sobre las oportunidades para avanzar el desarrollo económico de Puerto Rico a través del desarrollo empresarial, la educación y el apoyo a la pequeña empresa -- creando caminos para las mujeres, jóvenes y comunidades por toda la isla.
