August 9, 2022

Washington, D.C.On the end of the ‘Remain in Mexico' policy, Chair Dr. Raul Ruiz issued the following statement:

"The Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) fought hard to put an end to this inhumane policy. We look forward to continuing to work with Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to fix our broken immigration system, improve border efficiency, keep families together, and restore dignity and humanity in our asylum process. The CHC continues to call on 10 Senate Republicans to join all Democrats and help us get comprehensive immigration reform with a pathway to citizenship across the finish line."
