Chairman Adriano Espaillat Condemns Ice Raids Targeting Working Families and Veterans
Washington, D.C. – The Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) Chairman Adriano Espaillat released the following statement in response to President Trump’s cruel Ice Raids:
"The recent ICE raids occurring in cities across the nation are deeply troubling and highlight the urgent need for immigration reform that prioritizes dignity and due process. These unwarranted raids have not only targeted hardworking individuals but, alarmingly, have also wrongfully targeted U.S. citizens and veterans.
"Such actions sow fear, disrupt families, destabilize local economies, and undermine public trust.
"The Congressional Hispanic Caucus stands firmly with community leaders across the country in demanding transparency and accountability from ICE. We will continue to fight for humane immigration policies that reflect our nation’s values, safeguard the rights of all individuals, and ensure that no one—especially our citizens and those who have served this country—is subjected to unjust actions. Everyone deserves to live and work without fear."

Washington, D.C. – El presidente del Caucus Hispano del Congreso (CHC), Adriano Espaillat, emitió la siguiente declaración en respuesta a las crueles incursiones ICE del presidente Trump:
"Las recientes redadas del ICE en ciudades de toda la nación son profundamente preocupantes y ponen de relieve la urgente necesidad de una reforma migratoria que priorice la dignidad y el debido proceso. Estas redadas injustificadas no solo han tenido como blanco a personas trabajadoras, sino que, de manera alarmante, también han afectado injustamente a ciudadanos estadounidenses y veteranos.
"Tales acciones siembran miedo, alteran familias, desestabilizan las economías locales y socavan la confianza pública.
"El Caucus Hispano del Congreso se une firmemente a los líderes comunitarios de todo el país para exigir transparencia y rendición de cuentas por parte del ICE.
