The Congressional Hispanic Caucus meets with Small Business Administrator Isabella Guzman

December 10, 2021

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) met with Small Business Administrator (SBA) Isabella Guzman to discuss access to COVID-19 relief programs, expanding Hispanic-owned small businesses' access to federal contracting opportunities and the impact of the Build Back Better Act among Hispanic small business owner.

"The Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) held a productive meeting with Small Business Administration Administrator Isabella Guzman on how we can help Hispanic-owned small businesses succeed," said Dr. Raul Ruiz. "The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on our community and disproportionately affected Hispanic and minority-owned businesses across the country. Having a Latina at the table, who is an entrepreneur herself and who has previously worked at the SBA, has been critical to helping small business owners recover and grow. The CHC stands ready to work with Administrator Guzman to ensure equity-driven policies are enacted so that minority business owners have access to the resources they need."
