Congressional Hispanic Caucus, National Hispanic and Immigration Advocacy Leaders Press Forward on Immigration Reform

WASHINGTON, D.C. —  Today, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) met with key National Hispanic and Immigration Advocacy Leaders on our continued work to passing a pathway to citizenship and immigration reform. Chairman Dr. Raul Ruiz issued the following statement after the strategy meeting:

“Today, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) held a productive meeting with leading, national immigration advocacy groups on our continued work to pass immigration reform,” said Chair Dr. Ruiz. “We remain committed to working urgently together strategically as lawmakers and advocacy groups to provide immigration protections and relief for the 11 million hardworking undocumented immigrants essential workers. The CHC will use every tool— legislative and executive—to protect our communities.”
