Washington, D.C. – Chair Dr. Raul Ruiz issued the following statement:

"Leader Hoyer stands among the best legislators in the country. He has mentored countless Members while helping us move forward legislation that puts working families first. We often heard from Leader Hoyer the importance of defending our Democracy and the values that hold it together – opportunity and freedom. He never backed down from that, and we thank him for uniting the Democratic party and delivering time and time again for our country.
