Congressional Hispanic Caucus Joins in Mourning Pope Francis
Washington, D.C. – The Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) released the following statement regarding the passing of Pope Francis:
The Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) is deeply saddened by the passing of Pope Francis, a fellow Latino who inspired millions and spoke for empathy and civility.
Francis set the example of delivering humanity where others brought dark ambition to the table. We will remember his courage to buck global ideological trends that seek to separate and oppress the most vulnerable.
The CHC stands with all those who grieve Pope Francis around the world.

Washington, D.C. – El liderazgo del Caucus Hispano del Congreso (CHC) emitió la siguiente declaración por el fallecimiento del Papa Francisco:
El CHC está profundamente entristecido por el fallecimiento del Papa Francisco, un Latino que inspiró a millones de personas y que alzó su voz para enaltecer los principios de empatía y civilidad.
Francisco puso el ejemplo de entregar humanismo donde otros ofrecían ambiciones obscuras. Recordaremos su valentía en ir contracorriente ante las tendencias ideológicas globales que buscan separar y reprimir a los más vulnerables.
